Hexight specializes in software development for supply chain management, offering solutions that leverage advanced planning and forecasting techniques to help businesses make smarter and faster decisions amidst uncertainty. Our expertise includes demand forecasting, experiment-driven planning, and probabilistic planning/forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be the developer responsible for the core technology supporting the Hexight product. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing production-grade, Enterprise-ready software solutions.
• Taking tasks from early design stages to production release and support.
• Working closely with Data Science and Algorithms teams to help realize complex computational tasks.
• Working closely with Product and Frontend to support client-facing features.
• Constantly improving the software environment and infrastructure .
• Validating colleague code via design reviews and PRs.
• Staying up to date on the latest advancements in our tech stack, and applying them.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who meets the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or a similar field.
• Experience: 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Experience with cloud computing infrastructure.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Ability to learn quickly, including cutting edge technologies and research.
