Payroll Legislation Specialist

Job Description

• In-depth analysis and understanding of payroll legislation, implementation of collective agreements, individual agreements, and complex employment arrangements.
• Characterization of technological payroll interfaces with external parties (statutory and others).
• Translation of regulatory and business requirements into system calculation logic and the construction of workflows.
• Characterization of payroll system automation and upgrades, including the implementation of new components and process automation.
• Development and execution of validation tests and controls for payroll calculations and integrative processes, identification and analysis of potential issues, and recommending necessary system improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.A in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 2+ years in Payroll system implementation, including writing functional and technical characterization.
• Expertise: Proven experience with payroll legislation, collective agreements, complex compensation, and regulatory processes.
• Technical Skills: Experience in system tests, troubleshooting and managing business requirements/interfaces

Advantage

• Familiarity with HR- SAP / MALAM-PAYROLL
• SQL and BI query skills for data analysis
• Certified Payroll Accountant course
