Security and Network Administrator

This is a full-time, hybrid Security and Network Administrator role based at Shamir IT HQ in Kibbutz Shamir (JB-181), offering the flexibility of 1 day working from home. As part of our global IT team, the Security and Network Administrator will manage, maintain, and secure the network infrastructure supporting group companies both in Israel and worldwide.

Work Model: • Hybrid model: 4 days on-site in Kibbutz Shamir / 1 day Work From Home.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain network and security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, switches, and routers. • Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies, best practices, and compliance standards. • Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for global offices. • Collaborate with IT team members on key infrastructure and cybersecurity projects. • Accurately document processes, system configurations, and network changes. • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of global network services.

Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network and security administration. • Proven experience with network protocols, firewalls, and security tools. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards. • Fluent English (both spoken and written) – essential for global collaboration. • High service orientation, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Willingness to travel abroad as needed and availability for irregular working hours when required.

• Preferred Qualifications (Advantage): • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CISSP or equivalent. • Experience with cloud security and hybrid environments.
