SecOps Specialist | Central Israel

Mertens, Malam Team is hiring a SecOps Specialist to join a leading organization in Central Israel.

The role includes hands-on responsibility for the ongoing operation and maintenance of information security systems, firewall management, application security, identity and access management, cyber incident investigation, and ongoing collaboration with SOC teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain information security systems

Manage and troubleshoot Check Point Firewalls

Manage application security solutions

Manage identities, permissions, and privileged access

Investigate cyber incidents and security alerts

Handle Incident Response and Remediation processes

Work closely with SOC teams

Work with Check Point, CyberArk, Trend Micro, Radware, Reblaze, Cloudflare, WAF, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, and AI tools

Use AI and Generative AI tools for log investigation, threat detection, and anomaly detection

Support the protection of enterprise AI infrastructure

Requirements

3 years of experience in SecOps, SOC Tier 2, or SOC Analyst roles

Hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Check Point Firewalls

Hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM

Hands-on experience with Trend Micro and investigating alerts in EDR/XDR systems

Experience with WAF solutions

Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, and DNS protocols
