Senior Transportation Planner – The Franklin Regional Council of Governments

The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) is looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Senior Transportation Planner to join our team. This full-time role is a chance to work on projects that directly affect daily life across rural Franklin County – from safer streets and better walking and biking connections to well-maintained roads and resilient infrastructure.

FRCOG is the regional planning agency and municipal service provider for the 26 communities of Franklin County, MA. We partner with local governments, state agencies, and residents to deliver practical, equitable, respectful, and high-quality services across the region. We welcome applicants with a range of backgrounds and perspectives who bring strong transportation planning skills and a commitment to public service.

Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred in planning, engineering or related field with minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience depending on education.
