Aristagora VC is an early-stage, sector-agnostic venture capital fund investing in Israeli technology startups, with teams in Tel Aviv and Tokyo.

We are looking for an Associate to join our investment team. This is a broad role covering the investment process as well as the ongoing work of the fund, with direct exposure to partners, founders, portfolio companies, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Deal flow and investment analysis: Meet startups, evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct market and competitive research, and work with companies throughout the due diligence process.
• Financial analysis: Analyze financials, business models, cap tables, and investment terms as part of new and follow-on investments.
• Investment process: Prepare materials for internal discussions and investment decisions and support the execution of investments.
• Deal flow management: Maintain the fund's deal flow database, summarize meetings, and manage follow-ups and next steps.
• Portfolio: Follow portfolio company performance and financing activity and support the evaluation of follow-on investments.
• Ecosystem relationships: Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, accelerators, and other participants in the Israeli and international startup ecosystem.
• Fund activities: Support LP and portfolio reporting, presentations, research, and other ongoing activities of the fund.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, technology, accounting, or law.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in startups, technology, and venture investing.
• Judgment: Ability to quickly understand new businesses and technologies, identify what matters, and form an independent view.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Hebrew, written and spoken.
• Technical skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ecosystem knowledge: Familiarity with the Israeli startup ecosystem.
• Work style: Independent, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
• Organization: Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
