Board Design Engineer

Role Description-

• Serving as a Hardware / Board Design Engineer, taking complete end-to-end technical responsibility for designing, developing, and validating advanced electronic boards and hardware systems.
• Leading schematic design, component selection, and design analysis using industry-standard EDA tools (OrCAD, Mentor Xpedition, Altium, or equivalent).
• Guiding and overseeing PCB layout processes with external/internal layout teams, ensuring adherence to high-speed signal integrity, power integrity, and DFM/DFA manufacturing guidelines.
• Leading hands-on Board Bring-Up, Hardware Debugging, and System-Level Integration in the lab using advanced electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs).
• Authoring comprehensive engineering technical documentation in English, including High-Level / Detailed Design Documents (HLD/LLD), test plans (ATP/ATR), and integration specifications.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including FPGA engineers, Firmware/Software developers, Mechanical/Thermal experts, and defense/industrial clients.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a relevant technical degree / Military Hardware specialist background – Mandatory
• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in Hardware Engineering and Board Design (industry or defense/military tech units) – Mandatory
• Deep, hands-on proficiency with Schematic Capture EDA tools (OrCAD, Xpedition, Altium, or similar) – Mandatory
• Thorough understanding of PCB manufacturing, assembly processes, layout oversight, and Board Bring-Up / Integration – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on laboratory experience utilizing advanced Electronic Test Equipment (Scope, DVM, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Logic Analyzer) – Mandatory
• Proven capability in writing formal Hardware Design & Verification documentation (Eng Specs, Test Plans) in English – Mandatory
• Experience with High-Speed digital design, analog circuitry, or power supply topologies – Significant Advantage
• Background working on Defense, Aerospace, or High-Reliability Electronic Systems – Advantage
