Python Infrastructure Engineer

Located in the Sharon region (Walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Core Infrastructure & Backend Software Engineer, taking full ownership of designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, developer libraries, and foundational infrastructure utilized across multiple engineering teams.
• Architecting resilient, high-performance software predominantly in Python, with opportunities to work with Rust and other systems languages.
• Designing and implementing robust web applications, internal tools, and high-throughput backend services running on Linux environments.
• Driving continuous improvement of internal developer infrastructure, automation frameworks, and system performance.
• Experimenting with emerging technologies and innovative approaches to solve complex distributed infrastructure challenges.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with system architects, storage domain experts, and internal engineering stakeholders.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree – Advantage
• 3+ years of professional hands-on software development experience with Python – Mandatory
• Deep mastery of the Python Standard Library, advanced Python features (e.g., Generators, Decorators, Iterators, Context Managers), and clean coding best practices – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience developing web applications and REST APIs using modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django) – Mandatory
• Solid working experience in Linux operating system environments and shell scripting – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) – Mandatory
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset – Mandatory
• Experience with Rust, Go, or systems-level programming – Significant Advantage
• Background in Enterprise Storage, Cloud-Scale Infrastructure, or Developer Tools (DevTools) – Advantage
