AI Engineer

A fast-growing FinTech and Global Equity Management startup developing an intelligent, cross-border platform that streamlines Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) and equity compensation for international workforces.

The platform automates complex multi-jurisdictional tax regulations, compliance frameworks, and equity administration across global markets, combining modern cloud architectures with advanced AI capabilities.

Operating its core engineering hub in Israel, the company provides an agile environment handling high-security financial workflows and scalable distributed services.

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend & AI Software Engineer, taking end-to-end technical ownership over the design, implementation, and scaling of core FinTech and equity-management services.
• Developing resilient, high-throughput microservices and APIs primarily in Python, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Integrating, developing, and deploying AI-driven features, LLM workflows, and intelligent automation pipelines into production systems.
• Architecting scalable data models, transactional services, and secure integrations handling sensitive financial and legal data.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers, Compliance/FinTech domain experts, and Cloud Architects to drive rapid product iterations.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree / Elite military tech unit background – Advantage
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with a primary focus on Backend Engineering – Mandatory
• Deep, proven programming proficiency in Python – Mandatory
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying AI / LLM / Machine Learning-driven applications and integrations – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on background in Microservices Architectures and Cloud Platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure) – Mandatory
• Solid experience with relational/NoSQL databases, transactional integrity, and REST/gRPC APIs – Mandatory
• Background in FinTech, Equity/Cap-Table Management, LegalTech, or High-Security SaaS Systems – Significant Advantage
