Automation Engineer

A startup in the Data and Storage field is developing a data platform for artificial intelligence. They have created the first storage platform entirely based on flash technology, which dominates all data storage for the private sector.

The uniqueness of the product lies in its data compression algorithms, which help reduce costs for customers and enable organizations to fully understand their data to create new value. The company has clients worldwide, including in the USA, Europe, Australia, Dubai, and more.

The company has been profitable for three consecutive years and has raised a total of $400 million, with a valuation of $9.1 billion. They are experiencing tremendous growth, offer excellent conditions, and maintain a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Located in Tel Aviv near the train line, they operate on a hybrid model with two days of remote work. The company has about 700 employees in total, with 300 in Israel across two development centers in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Testing & Automation SW tools from the ground up, interfacing to various systems and tests (Python-based).
• Work closely with developers to create and maintain a state-of-the-art system tests
• Define, develop and execute testing plans with deep system knowledge and understanding.

Requirements-

• 2 years’ experience in development of product testing, manufacturing, automation tools.
• Knowledge of File Systems (NAS) / Block-level Storage / storage networking protocols.
• Experience with Linux & shell scripting: python, bash.
• Experience in analyzing large and diverse systems, understanding of QA processes and procedures.
• Background in developing test automation infrastructure and/or automating tests on a combination of Linux and Windows servers.
• Deep understanding of Computer systems / Operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) - must
• Demonstrated testing experience (Test Definition & Execution) in the following fields: Integration, Performance, Stress.
