Avionic Electrician

Candidate Profile

Location: relocation to Israel required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as an electrician / aviation mechanic.

Education / Licence: No licence required; aviation training an advantage. (Salary A / 'Electrical' trade band.)

Cultural fit: Disciplined; integrates into a team; willing to relocate and work shifts/overtime.

Hard skills:

• Wiring works with full knowledge of press tools for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
• Avionics modifications including ADs and SBs.
• Heavy maintenance experience (preferred).
• Proven experience on relevant aircraft — preferred B777, B767, A330.
• Very good English.
• Experience converting passenger aircraft to cargo (advantage).

Candidate Qualities / Soft Skills

• Disciplined, strong team player.
• Reliable; immediate reporting of events during work.
• Willing to work overtime (including Fridays) and in shifts.
• Comfortable at heights, high noise, carrying weights, standing/kneeling.
• Adheres strictly to aviation rules and factory procedures.

Benefits :

• Salary paid to an Israeli bank account on the 9th of each month; hourly wages as stipulated in the employment contract.
• Overtime (with professional-manager approval): first two hours at 125%; third hour onward at 150%.
• Pension contributions: employer 6.5% / employee 6%. Severance pay: 6%.
• Annual leave: 12 days. Sick leave: 18 days.
• Medical insurance: company-arranged; average deduction up to ~72 NIS / month.
• End-of-service deposit: accrued deposit + pension + severance transferable at the end of employment.
• Housing: furnished apartment with regular maintenance and a dedicated contact person; housing deduction ~441.38 NIS (varies by geographic location).
• Meals: on-site lunch via employee badge — dining rooms, cafés and a supermarket with varied options (meat, vegetarian, etc.).
• Transport: company shuttles between accommodation and the site, aligned to shift times.
• Annual trip abroad: one national holiday per year with the flight ticket paid by the employer (ticket only).
