Product UX Team Lead

Moon Active is looking for an exceptional Product UX Team Lead to join and lead a team within our Product team.

The Product team is responsible for driving the strategy and long-term engagement of our games, ensuring our millions of daily active players enjoy a seamless and captivating experience.

As a Product UX Team Lead, you will manage, mentor, and empower a team of talented UX Designers while remaining hands-on with key strategic initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Product team, Game Design Leads, UI Leads, and Technical Artists to define UX vision, balance player satisfaction with product KPIs, and elevate overall design standards. In this role, you will also lead the charge in transforming our UX workflows through cutting-edge AI tools and driving the expansion of our cross-platform Design System.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX designers. Provide constructive feedback, clear guidance, and support their ongoing professional development.
• Translate complex business goals, monetization strategies, and product roadmap requirements into scalable, engaging, and high-converting user experiences.
• Partner daily with Product Managers, Game Designers, UI and Developers to align UX direction with broader business and gameplay objectives.
• Stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving AI landscape - actively discovering, adopting, and establishing best practices for cutting-edge AI tools to revolutionize team-wide UX workflows, from instant prototyping to deep UX exploration.
• Oversee the evolution, maintenance, and scaling of our robust Design System, ensuring consistency, high quality, and efficiency across all product features.
• Lead the end-to-end user research framework. Guide the team in planning player interviews, usability testing, and leveraging behavioral data to validate design decisions.
• Establish clear UX processes, frameworks, and quality bars for wireframing, user flows, and visual prototyping across all team deliverables.
  
  

• At least 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring UI/UX designers in a fast-paced product environment.
• 5+ years of professional UX Design experience, with a proven track record in mobile applications (preferably mobile gaming).
• A true AI enthusiast who stays on top of the constantly evolving AI landscape. Hands-on experience embedding the latest AI tools into daily UX workflows and inspiring teams to adopt AI-driven methodologies.
• Proven experience in building, scaling, and managing Design Systems in a product-driven mobile environment.
• Mastery of modern UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma), combined with advanced prototyping skills and quick sketching methods.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and visual storytelling skills.
• Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry and a strong passion for games — a major advantage!
