Development Manager – Secure Communications

The Security Projects Division, specializing in secure communications, is seeking an experienced Development Manager.

The position reports directly to the Division Manager and carries overall responsibility for development processes, multidisciplinary teams, and products.

This is a key leadership position involving the management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, planning and achieving objectives, defining processes and working methods, and ensuring high standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of approximately 25 professionals in software, hardware, RF, electronics, mechanics, and QA.
• Lead the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products, from requirements definition and system characterization through planning, integration, design verification, and full transfer to production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize resources, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with the division's objectives.
• Define and implement procedures and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Support strategic decision-making and the development of long-term plans for the division.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering – required.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Development Manager.
• At least 10 years of previous experience as an engineer and/or team leader in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in the defense industry – a significant advantage.
• Security clearance – an advantage.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, motivate and lead teams, maintain a broad systems perspective, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
