Hazardous Materials & Environmental Compliance Officer – Aircraft Testing Plant, Aviation Division

The Aircraft Testing Plant within the Aviation Division is seeking a Hazardous Materials & Environmental Compliance Officer.

The role includes:

• Professional management of hazardous materials throughout their entire lifecycle at the plant, including procurement, receiving, storage, use, waste handling, and disposal.
• Ensuring the plant’s compliance with the Hazardous Materials Law, environmental regulations, the conditions of the Hazardous Materials Permit, and the requirements of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Home Front Command, Fire and Rescue Services, and any other relevant regulatory authority.
• Monitoring and oversight of wastewater, soil, noise, hazardous materials, and environmental pollution prevention.
• Preparing the plant for inspections, audits, and regulatory surveys; accompanying inspectors and leading corrective actions until all findings are resolved.
• Leading activities related to hazardous materials, wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, pollution prevention, and emergency response.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or another relevant field – an advantage.
• Professional training in hazardous materials and environmental protection – required.
• Familiarity with integrated management systems and quality, safety, and environmental standards – required.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to work with information systems – required.
• Good command of technical English – required.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role in an industrial plant, preferably in the defense or aviation industry – a significant advantage.
