Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description

• Serving as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, joining a core engineering squad responsible for architecting, developing, and scaling high-throughput, data-intensive backend services.
• Developing core server-side services primarily in Node.js (with targeted components in Python) deployed across a high-scale AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Designing and optimizing large-scale data ingestion pipelines, robust API integrations, and complex database architectures processing data for millions of records.
• Architecting scalable, resilient, and distributed systems handling complex data orchestration and third-party healthcare/financial integrations.
• Leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools and intelligent workflows to drive code quality, automation, and engineering velocity.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Frontend engineers in an agile environment.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field – Mandatory
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Backend Software Engineering (primarily Node.js, with Python or equivalent) – Mandatory
• Solid hands-on experience with modern Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure) – Mandatory
• Proven knowledge in architecture and design of Scalable, High-Performance, and Complex Distributed Systems – Mandatory
• Strong experience working with Relational and NoSQL Databases in high-scale environments – Mandatory
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate productivity and code quality – Mandatory
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adherence to high coding standards – Mandatory
• Fluent, high-level English communication skills (both written and verbal) – Mandatory
• Background in Big Data processing, Data Pipelines, or FinTech/HealthTech platforms – Advantage
