Job Description:

• Conducting advanced intelligence-technological research on cyber attacks in various cloud environments, for the purpose of identifying indicators and formulating the cloud investigation approach.
• Implementing and simulating the Attack Chain in cloud environments.
• Providing leading research-technological support in the identification, detection, locating, and providing early warnings of cyber attacks in cloud environments.
• Enriching technological information and insights for field investigation teams for the purpose of identifying actual attacks.
• Formulating and writing professional research reports on cyber attacks in the cloud, for the purpose of creating alerts for organizations and the Israeli economy as a whole and strengthening national resilience.
• Extracting research insights from intelligence-technological information, developing research-supporting tools and systems, and conducting Big Data-based research.
• Conducting penetration tests for complex systems, monitoring networks and components, and handling and responding to cyber incidents (Incident Response).

Job Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in conducting research and/or high-level development in the field of cyber threats.
• Proven and in-depth experience in two or more of the following areas: Malware Research, Vulnerability Research, Forensic Research (Digital Investigation), Reverse Engineering, Advanced Research of Communication Protocols and Networks, Threat Research and Attack Campaigns, Cyber Threat Intelligence Research, conducting penetration tests for complex systems, developing research-supporting tools, and conducting Big Data-based research.
• Extensive, advanced, and proven knowledge of a variety of operating systems, communication protocols, information security, and data communications.
• Education: An academic bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Exact Sciences, or Technological Engineering; or a Computer/Technology Engineering Technician certificate; or professional training in the field of cyber defense totaling 400 hours; or graduate of a technological unit in the IDF (MAMRAM, 8200, C4I and equivalent units) and/or BAAM, subject to appropriate approval.
• Strong technological orientation (particularly in the field of Computer Science) and broad system-level perspective.
• Independence, ability to represent and communicate with professional stakeholders, fast learning ability and ability to distinguish between the essential and the non-essential, high service awareness, and excellent interpersonal skills.
