Back End Engineer

The company has engineered an advanced platform that replaces static, over-privileged access with dynamic, granular permissions, extending its architecture to secure autonomous AI Agents and non-human identities.

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid model.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, joining an organic engineering squad reporting directly to a Squad Lead.
• Architecting, developing, and scaling high-performance, resilient Backend Services and Cloud Infrastructure with a primary focus on Kotlin (~60%) and Golang (~40%) (with optional frontend touchpoints in React).
• Designing and building secure, multi-tenant architectures, highly available cloud-native systems, and robust APIs handling dynamic identity and access policies.
• Leveraging cutting-edge AI-assisted developer tooling (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) into everyday development workflows.
• Tackling deep engineering challenges across low-latency performance optimization, strict security guardrails, concurrency, and high system reliability.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Security Architects, Product Managers, and Cloud Infrastructure teams across local and global engineering divisions.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree / Alumni of an Elite IDF Technological Unit – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on backend systems – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on proficiency in at least one modern backend language: Kotlin, Golang, Java, or Python – Mandatory
• Solid experience in designing and building Scalable, High-Availability, Multi-Tenant Cloud Services – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of Cloud Architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure), Microservices, and REST/gRPC APIs – Mandatory
• Strong engineering orientation towards system performance, security best practices, and code reliability – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with modern AI coding workflows (Cursor, Claude) – Advantage
• Background in Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM), Cloud Security, or Enterprise SaaS – Significant Advantage
• Full-stack capabilities or experience with React – Advantage
