The Nephrology Research Laboratory at the Galilee Medical Center Research Institute is seeking highly motivated and curious M.Sc. or Ph.D. students to join our team.

About the Lab & Research Focus

Our lab investigates kidney diseases through a multi-disciplinary approach, combining molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology. Primary research areas include:

• Human Genetics: Identifying novel genetic variants in families affected by chronic kidney failure and hereditary renal diseases.
• Functional Genomics: Assessing the biological significance of identified mutations to uncover disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
• Disease Modeling: Developing biological models and mapping molecular pathways to evaluate optimal, targeted treatments.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
• High motivation, scientific curiosity and interested in translational medical research.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology or cell culture techniques is a plus.
