Economist, Listing Unit - Listing & Economic Department | Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE)

Position Overview

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is seeking an Economist to join the listing Unit within the Listing & Economic Department. The role involves supporting capital raising and primary market activities, working closely with listed companies, financial advisors, underwriters, regulators, and other key market participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle matters related to primary market issuances and corporate capital raising activities, including prospectus reviews, private placements, dual-listed companies, issuance of financial instruments, and restructuring arrangements.
• Prepare professional opinions, memoranda, and position papers on matters related to securities listings, public offerings, and capital raising transactions.
• Support and promote professional initiatives aimed at developing the issuance market and financial instruments traded on the exchange, including analysis of market needs, trends, and regulatory developments.
• Work closely with public companies, advisors, underwriters, the Israel Securities Authority, and other professional stakeholders throughout listing, issuance, and capital raising processes.

Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of the Israeli capital market and its regulatory environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure, including extended and non-standard working hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills, service orientation, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Advantage

• Familiarity with the Israeli securities market, including the Securities Law, TASE Rules and Regulations, and securities listing procedures.
• Familiarity with publicly traded companies.
• Experience in capital raising and issuance activities, including analysis of prospectuses and financial statements.
• Experience working with AI tools and the ability to apply them effectively in daily work.
