A leading multidisciplinary systems company is looking for a C++ / Embedded Software Team Lead to provide professional, technological, and managerial leadership to a small development team of approximately 3 developers.

The role combines team leadership with hands-on development, including the design and development of Real-Time Embedded systems, sprint planning, integration processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

* Lead and professionally mentor a team of approximately 3 software developers

* Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers

* Plan and manage sprints in an Agile environment

* Manage tasks and track execution using Azure DevOps

* Lead software design, development, integration, and release processes

* Work closely with System, Hardware, Infrastructure, Integration, and QA teams

* Lead development processes in accordance with company methodologies and procedures

* Remain hands-on and involved in the development of Embedded systems

Requirements

* At least 5 years of software development experience

* At least 3 years of C/C++ development experience

* Experience developing Real-Time Embedded systems

* Experience with Linux and/or VxWorks

* Previous experience in technical leadership and/or software team management

* Experience working in Agile environments and managing sprints

* Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle

* B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field, or a Practical Engineer qualification with significant relevant experience

* Willingness and ability to undergo a security clearance process
