About the Company

About the Role
This is a broad, hands-on engineering role. You’ll work directly with the founders and own the most challenging parts of the platform end to end. The focus is backend and infrastructure, but you’ll work across the full stack whenever a problem calls for it. You’ll help shape the technical direction, and how engineering works as the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Own the Challenging Problems - Take the most complex parts of the platform end to end, from architecture through production.
- Shape Architectural Decisions - Help define service boundaries, data models, and technical direction as the platform scales.
- Build the Core - Design and ship the systems at the heart of the platform.
- Scale the Data Pipeline - Build the ingestion, processing, and orchestration layers that move data through the platform reliably.
- Own Infrastructure - Shape deployment, observability, and reliability across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Build End to End - Work across the full stack when the problem calls for it, including the surfaces your services power.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building and operating production backend systems
- Experience with multi-tenant systems and the data isolation they require
- Track record of owning architectural decisions on systems running in production
- Judgment about which complexity is worth taking on
- You’re energized by problems with no defined path - that’s the part of the job you want
Required Skills
- Experience with data-intensive or ML-backed platforms
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
- Strong product intuition and collaboration across teams
- Experience as an early or founding engineer at a startup
