Chief Concierge – Six Senses Tel Aviv (New Hotel Opening)

As Chief Concierge, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the hotel.

Duties And Responsibilities

As Chief Concierge, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Concierge department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for responding to a wide range of guest requests, assessing individual needs and adding personalised recommendations and touches to maximise guest satisfaction while complying with hotel standards and policies.
• Process and handle all guest requests relating to packages, messages and mail.
• Assist guests with enquiries relating to hotel services, operating hours, key personnel, in-house events, directions and other requests.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of London’s events and venues, providing relevant and personalised recommendations. Build strong relationships with external agents, brokers and venues to ensure a high level of service.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, consistently meeting and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the property and regularly review adherence to LQA standards.
• Ensure clear and effective communication between departments to support the smooth running of the property.
• Ensure all policies, procedures and best practices are implemented and consistently followed.
• Promote a cost-conscious philosophy through training and education.
• Ensure the property operates in line with all legal, statutory and financial requirements, with appropriate systems, controls, documentation, security and safety protocols, service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls in place and regularly reviewed.
  
  

Qualifications

To execute the position of Chief Concierge, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field plus two-four years concierge experience including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have excellent knowledge of guest related functions, guest service and local surrounding areas.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew.
• I must have the legal right to work in Israel at the time of application.
