About the Role

We are a leading global Chinese automotive brand expanding our presence in Israel. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Finance Manager with local working rights to lead our financial operations, tax compliance, and treasury management. In this role, you will bridge global headquarters financial standards with local Israeli statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance, precise reporting, and robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Israeli GAAP and align local financial data with Chery HQ accounting standards and policies.
• Taxation & Local Compliance: Oversee local tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax) and social security reconciliations. Ensure strict adherence to Israeli tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and statutory audit requirements.
• Treasury & Banking: Direct local bank account operations, cash flow management, and foreign exchange risks. Oversee salary and vendor disbursement processes in coordination with HR and Procurement.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop annual budget plans, monitor departmental operational expenses, track variances, and provide actionable risk mitigation and cost-control recommendations.
• Internal Control & Audit: Maintain effective financial risk prevention workflows. Coordinate with external accounting firms, tax advisors, and internal auditors to complete statutory audits seamlessly.
• Cross-Border Communication: Serve as the primary finance liaison between Chery HQ, the local management team, local tax authorities, and banking partners.

Qualifications

• Work Authorization: Must possess valid Israeli Permanent Residency (PR) or full legal work authorization in Israel.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent/Native in Hebrew and professional working proficiency in English (capable of independently liaising with local banks, tax authorities, accounting firms, and internal stakeholders).
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. CPA (Certified Public Accountant in Israel) certification is preferred.
• Professional Experience: 3–6 years of experience in financial management, corporate accounting, or tax advisory. Background in Big 4 accounting firms or international automotive/trading companies is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise software) and advanced spreadsheet/financial modeling skills.
• Core Competencies: Strong cross-cultural communication skills, high ethical standards, rigorous analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
