Robyn Capital, an investment fund specializing in the acquisition of options and shares from employees and founders of technology companies, is looking for a Head of Data & AI Operations to join its management team and lead the fund’s data, operations, and reporting infrastructure.

This is a central, managerial and hands-on role combining analytical, operational, and technological work.

The role includes responsibility for building processes and systems that support the fund’s investment activity end-to-end, while also managing an Operations Analyst and providing hands-on support to day-to-day operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fund’s data infrastructure, including the build-out, maintenance, and improvement of financial models, databases, and control processes

• Work regularly with Salesforce, Snowflake, Excel, and AI tools to manage, process, analyze, and operationalize data.

• Lead end-to-end transaction operations - from target-company review, deal management and documentation, through capital calls, trustee coordination, and investor distributions.

• Provide hands-on operational support, including data work, checks, reconciliations, file preparation, status tracking, and closing operational gaps.

• Manage, guide, and supervise an Operations Analyst, including task prioritization, quality control, and implementation of operational standards.

• Work closely with legal, tax, finance, trustees, accountants, and external service providers.

• Produce internal reports and investor-facing reporting, including NAV, portfolio performance, carry calculations, Investment Committee materials, and management reports.

• Initiate and implement processes, automations, and operational improvements that allow the fund to scale efficiently, accurately, and with strong controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or another relevant field.

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, data operations, data management, investment operations, a financial institution, an investment fund, or a fintech company.

• Strong command of Excel and Salesforce.

• Experience working with Snowflake — significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, fund structures, investment processes, and financial operations.

• Proven ability to build data systems, workflows, and control processes from scratch.

• Exceptional analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and outstanding attention to detail.

• Ability to manage and guide an employee, while remaining willing to perform hands-on operational work when needed.
