PipeFX builds the systems behind creative and media production at scale — the pipelines, services and tooling that turn a good idea into something that runs reliably, every time.

We're a small, senior team, and we work the way we think software is going in 2026: heavy use of AI and agentic tooling, short paths from idea to production, and very little process for its own sake. Clean architecture and maintainable code matter here — not as slogans, but because we ship fast and have to live with what we built.

If you join us, you'll be in production code early. You'll have senior engineers to learn from, and you'll be expected to have opinions. We hire on what people can build, and we make room for people to grow into more than they were hired for.

As a Junior Software Engineer at PipeFX you'll work on back-end features and services — designing, building, testing and maintaining pieces of our core platform.

Day to day, that looks like:

• Turning loosely defined requirements into working technical solutions, alongside senior engineers
• Writing clean, efficient code and taking code review seriously — both directions
• Debugging, refactoring, and writing unit and integration tests
• Deploying updates, watching how they behave in production, and responding when something breaks
• Documenting what you built so the next person doesn't have to reverse-engineer it

What we care about most: that you can take a vague problem, break it down, and drive it to a result without needing someone to hand you the next step.

What you need:

• Hands-on experience writing back-end code in at least one modern language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar) — from studies, work, or your own projects
• Understanding of APIs, databases and server-side frameworks
• Comfort with OOP principles and applying them in actual projects, not just in theory
• Git and standard development workflow — branching, pull requests, code review
• Strong problem-solving instincts, attention to detail, and clear communication in writing and in person

• Things you've built. A repo, a product that went live, a bot, an internal tool, a side project nobody asked for. We'd rather open something you made than read another bullet point.
• Working fluently with AI and agentic dev tools — not "I've tried Copilot," but actually shipping with them
