Computer Systems Engineer – School of Electrical & Computer Engineering

As a Computer Systems Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain advanced computing infrastructures that power AI and deep learning research, support faculty and students, and work with state-of-the-art technologies in an innovative academic environment.

What you'll do:

• Design and maintain computing infrastructure for teaching and research laboratories.
• Support AI and deep learning environments, including GPU-based computing platforms.
• Manage storage, user environments, version control, and open-source collaboration platforms such as GitHub and Hugging Face.
• Install and maintain specialized research equipment and computing systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to faculty, researchers, and students.
• Lead procurement and lifecycle management of laboratory computing equipment.

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences (Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering preferred).
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps.
• Experience working with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with MLOps, deep learning infrastructure, or technical training – an advantage.

• If you hold an academic degree from an institution outside of Israel, you must provide an official certificate issued by the Department for the Evaluation of Foreign Academic Degrees at the Israeli Ministry of Education.
