Handyman

We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Handyman to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and office support tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained working environment.

As part of the team, the Handyman will work alongside two other Handymen and collaborate closely with various departments to support day-to-day operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work, including:
• Painting and touch-up work
• Drywall (gypsum) repairs and installations
• Basic carpentry and hardware (fixtures and fittings) repairs
• Plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Respond to and resolve blocked sinks, drains, and toilets.
• Assemble, disassemble, and relocate office furniture as required.
• Hang pictures, whiteboards, shelves, and other office fixtures.
• Support office relocations and internal moves between buildings or office areas.
• Transport and move equipment, furniture, and supplies across sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment.
  
  

• Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, facilities, or related role.
• Practical experience in painting, drywall work, plumbing, furniture assembly, and general repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
• High level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.
