AI Expert

The Aviation Division at Israel Aerospace Industries is looking for an AI Expert to join its Strategy Organization.

The position includes:

• Developing and implementing AI and Machine Learning models for business and operational solutions across the division

• Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for model training and feedback loops

• Designing and building ML Pipelines, including integration with CI/CD processes for model deployment

• Working with on-premises AI/ML environments and solutions

• Collaborating with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to define requirements and AI-based features

• Conducting experiments, evaluating model performance, and optimizing models based on accuracy, response time, resource consumption, and other performance metrics

• Writing technical documentation and solution specifications for AI solutions, including architecture, APIs, and usage guidelines

• Supporting users and troubleshooting production environments, including model monitoring and updates

• Ensuring compliance with information security standards and AI-related regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field/discipline – Mandatory

• 4+ years of experience developing AI/ML and Machine Learning models, including AI Agents and LLMs – Mandatory

• Strong proficiency in Python, including hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn – Mandatory

• Strong English communication and technical writing skills – Mandatory

• Knowledge of SQL and databases for data management, querying, and analysis – Advantage

• Experience writing and implementing technical documents and documentation for AI solutions – Advantage

• Experience working with cloud-based AI services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP – Advantage

• Strong technical background and systems-level understanding – Advantage

• Experience working in a large organization – Advantage

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and creative thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems
