Compliance Officer – Financial Services

For one of our clients, an established and growing financial services company, we are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer for an independent and influential professional role.

The position involves overall responsibility for the company’s compliance and regulatory activities, supporting business operations, and ensuring adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s compliance and regulatory activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into internal policies and operational procedures.
• Draft, update, and implement compliance policies and internal guidelines.
• Conduct ongoing compliance reviews, identify gaps, and manage compliance risks.
• Provide regulatory guidance and support business processes.
• Work closely with business and legal stakeholders to implement regulatory requirements across the organization.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a compliance or regulatory role within a financial institution – mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of Israeli financial regulation and anti-money laundering requirements – mandatory.
• Experience implementing regulatory requirements and working with business and legal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail, organization, and business judgment.
• Law degree and admission to the Israeli Bar – a significant advantage.
