AI-Driven Full Stack Team Lead

Cellxpert is looking for an AI-Driven Full Stack Team Lead to join our growing R&D team. We're looking for a hands-on engineering leader who is passionate about modern software development and has proven experience leveraging AI technologies—including building AI agents and AI-powered workflows—to accelerate development and drive innovation. We’re a boutique tech company with a cutting-edge product in the online marketing industry, trusted by global brands such as Fiverr, Elementor, and Lemonade. Located in the heart of Tel Aviv. Full-time position in a SaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Development team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Support, Account Management, and QA, to design, develop, and deliver innovative features for our cutting-edge product.
• Lead the technical direction of our platform, driving the development of scalable backend and frontend solutions in a hands-on leadership role while championing AI-driven engineering practices.
• Take ownership of the design and development of both backend and frontend components, ensuring high performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Design, build, and implement AI agents, AI-powered workflows, and intelligent automations to enhance engineering productivity and accelerate software delivery.
• Oversee the integration of new features with existing frameworks and systems to enhance the overall functionality of our platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing hands-on coding and technical leadership when needed.
• Promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and performance optimization.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve development efficiency, code quality, and engineering productivity.
• Stay at the forefront of AI, emerging technologies, and modern software development practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement across our product and engineering organization.



Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 1 year in a Team Lead or technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience building AI agents and AI-powered workflows, with proven expertise using modern AI development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and enhance engineering productivity.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, SQL, and Express.
• Strong frontend development skills using React, TypeScript, and MobX.
• Solid understanding of AWS services such as S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
