RF & Antenna Test Cell Team Leader

The Space Division at Israel Aerospace Industries is looking for an RF & Antenna Test Cell Team Leader to join its Space Testing organization.

The position includes:

• Leading the engineering activities related to the testing and characterization of antennas and RF systems for satellites in complex, multidisciplinary projects

• Planning, defining, and executing antenna and communication system tests, from requirements definition through final product delivery to the customer

• Analyzing measurement results, deriving engineering conclusions, and providing recommendations to improve system performance

• Working closely with System Engineers, Development, Integration, Manufacturing, and Test teams to address project requirements

• Leading Verification & Validation (V&V) activities and defining test methodologies for RF systems and antennas

• Leading technical activities and interfaces with customers, suppliers, and local subcontractors

• Taking professional responsibility for the test cell's measurement equipment, test infrastructure, and measurement capabilities

• Writing and reviewing engineering documents, test specifications, experiment reports, and technical presentations

• Developing and implementing professional workflows, procedures, and engineering methodologies in the field

• Initially working independently as the team's professional technical lead, followed by establishing, training, and managing a dedicated team

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Communications Engineering – Mandatory

• At least 5 years of experience in RF, antennas, or communication systems – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience conducting, analyzing, and leading antenna and RF system testing – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Power Meter – Mandatory

• Experience leading engineering, integration, and system-level testing activities – Mandatory

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and drive cross-functional interfaces – Mandatory

• Willingness to work weekends and shifts during testing campaigns – Mandatory

• Experience writing engineering documents, test specifications, and technical reports – Advantage

• Experience establishing engineering processes and methodologies – Significant Advantage

• Experience with antenna test chambers, measurement chambers, radiation measurements, or advanced RF environments, as well as knowledge of Microwave, Antenna Design, EMC/EMI, and RF Systems – Advantage

• High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken – Mandatory
