At 8400 - The Health Network, we’re looking for a senior leader to shape and lead our work across Israel’s health ecosystem - bringing together healthcare organizations, government, industry, innovation leaders to drive meaningful, system-level impact.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who deeply understands how Israel’s healthcare system works, knows the people and organizations shaping it, and has the strategic and managerial ability to turn complex ecosystem challenges into collaborative initiatives and action.

This is a central leadership role within 8400, with responsibility for our local ecosystem strategy, HealthIL forums, government relations, data and research, and key professional platforms and events.

What you’ll lead

• HealthIL forums - leading forums across the health ecosystem, connecting healthcare organizations, startups, multinational companies, and other industry players around shared challenges and opportunities.
• Government & Health System Relations - building and managing strategic relationships with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy, Israel Innovation Authority, healthcare organizations, and other key public-sector stakeholders.
• Ecosystem Strategy & Innovation - identifying systemic challenges and opportunities across Israel’s health ecosystem and developing cross-sector initiatives that help accelerate innovation, collaboration, and implementation.
• Data & Research - overseeing 8400’s ecosystem mapping, data, research, and knowledge infrastructure to support strategic decision-making and ecosystem development.
• Leadership & Execution - translating strategy into multi-year work plans, leading a multidisciplinary team, managing significant budgets, and ensuring that ambitious ideas turn into measurable outcomes.
• Strategic Platforms & Events - shaping high-level professional content, forums, and flagship initiatives, including HealthIL Week, that bring the ecosystem together around its most important challenges and opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

A senior, strategic leader with:

• Deep familiarity with the Israeli healthcare system and health ecosystem - a must.
• Significant experience working with government ministries, regulators, healthcare organizations, and senior public-sector stakeholders - a must.
• 6-10+ years of leadership experience, including team management, budgets, and complex cross-organizational initiatives.
• Proven experience in ecosystem development, healthcare innovation, strategy, regulation, digital health, or related fields.
• A strong understanding of the intersection between healthcare, government, technology, industry, and innovation.
• The ability to build trust and work effectively with senior stakeholders across organizations and sectors.
• Experience building and leading professional communities, forums, strategic programs, or large-scale collaborative initiatives.
• Exceptional strategic thinking combined with a strong ability to translate strategy into structured plans and execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills in both Hebrew and English.
• A systems-level mindset - someone who can see the bigger picture, understand where the ecosystem’s gaps and opportunities are, bring the right people around the table, and turn collaboration into meaningful change.
