RT Software Engineer

About the Role

Elta Systems is looking for an RT Software Engineer to join its Software Plant.

The role includes:

• Working with REAL-TIME operating systems and developing C/C++ software for radar systems.
• Working on complex projects, requiring self-learning, teamwork, and strong system-level thinking.
• Software/hardware integration in project laboratories.
• Supporting system integrations and field trials at customer sites.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering or Computer Science – required.
• 3+ years of experience in C/C++ programming – required.
• Background in radar systems – an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (DevOps) processes – an advantage.
• Experience with Git/JIRA – an advantage.
• Experience with software/hardware integration and working with boards and hardware – an advantage.
• Familiarity with Linux/VxWorks operating systems – an advantage.
• Strong learning ability, teamwork skills, and a drive for excellence.
