CYBERLABS is seeking an experienced Head Instructor & Activity Manager to lead our cyber training operations in Eilat, including the establishment and management of the city’s new Cyber Operations Center (SOC).

This pivotal role combines professional instruction for our SOC Analyst training program with day-to-day operational management, leadership of the instructional team, student mentorship, training quality assurance, Cyber Operations Center oversight, and collaboration with company management.

Our programs are tailored for students with no prior technical background, requiring an exceptional ability to make complex technical topics accessible, build a gradual learning curve, and guide participants from their initial training all the way to hands-on internships in our Cyber Operations Center and full industry placement.

We are looking for an experienced cyber professional with strong instructional and management skills to lead our training programs and Eilat operations across professional, operational, and personal domains.

As the central professional figure for CYBERLABS in Eilat, you will oversee curriculum delivery, daily academic routines, troubleshooting, staff and student support, maintenance of high instructional standards, ongoing SOC operations, and the cultivation of relationships with employers and prospective clients.

This position is ideal for SOC professionals with a solid foundation in IT and information security and practical field experience who want to combine hands-on expertise with teaching, management, and educational leadership.

• Deliver in-person and online lectures covering cybersecurity, information security, networking, operating systems, and SOC operations.
• Lead hands-on practical exercises within virtual laboratory environments.
• Design a step-by-step, structured learning path for students with no prior technical background.
• Explain complex technical concepts in a clear, organized, and accessible manner.
• Integrate attack and defense scenarios, incident analysis, and real-world case studies.
• Answer technical questions and provide personalized guidance to students.
• Track participant progress and deliver professional feedback.
• Identify knowledge gaps and adapt instructional pace and level to group needs.
• Assist in updating lesson plans, exercises, and study materials.
• Maintain uniform professional standards throughout the entire training program.

• Take full responsibility for the ongoing execution of the Eilat training program.
• Manage schedules, timetables, attendance, and curriculum adherence.
• Coordinate between CYBERLABS management, the instructional team, and students.
• Onboard new instructors, distribute tasks, and provide professional guidance.
• Mentor, supervise, and coach the instructional team.
• Handle operational and technical issues as they arise during the program.
• Cultivate a positive, professional, and respectful learning environment.
• Oversee Cyber Operations Center activities and integrate training graduates into the SOC.
• Report to company management on operational progress, challenges, and student achievements.
• Participate in retrospectives, debriefs, and the continuous improvement of the learning experience.
• Represent CYBERLABS before local authorities, partners, and the student community in Eilat as needed.

• Practical experience in cybersecurity, IT, information security, and SOC operations.
• Hands-on experience in SOC monitoring and security incident response.
• Proven ability to lead a team or manage professional operations.
• Solid command of communication networks, protocols, operating systems, and system security.
• Practical mastery of SIEM environments and monitoring, analysis, and alert-handling workflows.
• Familiarity with security tools, command-line interfaces, and Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in instruction, training, teaching, or workshop facilitation.
• Ability to explain technical processes and concepts clearly and logically.
• Capability to lead practical exercises and assist with troubleshooting.
• Service-oriented approach, patience, and the ability to work with participants at varying skill levels.
• Ability to build personal rapport with students and motivate them throughout their learning journey.

• Prior experience as a Head Instructor, Team Lead, or Training Manager.
• Experience in Blue Team, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting.
• Experience in Penetration Testing, Red Team, Web Security, or Ethical Hacking.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS systems, and traffic analysis tools.
• Experience working with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or automation tools.
• Familiarity with Cloud, DevSecOps, application security, or infrastructure security.
• Experience building labs, virtual machines, and practice environments.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Security+, CEH, CySA+, OSCP, or equivalent.
• Degree or formal studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience preparing study materials, writing exercises, or designing curricula.
• Familiarity with industry requirements and entry-level SOC career paths.
• Experience working with populations entering the workforce for the first time.
• Familiarity with the Israeli high-tech, cyber, and professional training ecosystems.
