Development Engineer- Pilot Plant | TAMI Research Institute

In this role, you will lead the transfer of innovative processes from the laboratory stage to pilot-scale operations and full-scale production. You will work with a wide range of technologies and have a direct impact on the development of products and processes on an industrial scale.

Key Responsibilities:

This role encompasses a broad range of core chemical engineering activities, including:

• Development and scale-up of new processes
• Improvement and optimization of existing processes
• Process simulation and analysis
• Technology transfer and implementation of knowledge in production plants
• Supporting the transition of technologies from laboratory to pilot and manufacturing environments

The position requires working in shifts.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering-Must, M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering-an advantage
• Experience in operating and running pilot-scale processes
• Experience in process and plant design
• Ability to read and prepare P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) drawings
• Basic experience in process simulation; familiarity with ASPEN software is an advantage
• High level of English proficiency
• Strong technical report writing and presentation skills, including knowledge transfer and training capabilities
• Willingness to travel for business purposes, both domestically and internationally
• Availability to work shifts and additional hours as required
