Integration Engineer

ELTA Systems is seeking a Real-Time Software Integration Engineer to join its Software Division and contribute to the development and integration of advanced radar systems.

This role combines software development, system integration, and hands-on engineering work in a challenging real-time environment. You will work on complex multidisciplinary projects involving software-hardware integration, laboratory testing, and customer-site support, while developing a broad system-level perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for advanced radar systems using C and C++ in Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating strong self-learning capabilities and a system-level perspective.
• Perform software and hardware integration activities in project laboratories.
• Support system integration, testing, and field trials at customer sites.
• Participate in the development and validation of complex operational systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across software and hardware domains.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field – required.
• At least 3 years of experience programming in C and C++ – required.
• Strong analytical skills, motivation to learn, and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in radar systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience working with Git and JIRA.
• Experience integrating software with electronic hardware and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Linux and VxWorks operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and system integration capabilities.
