NTU International A/S is a leading international consulting company providing project management and technical advisory services worldwide. NTU works extensively with European Union institutions, international financial institutions, development agencies, and public sector clients across energy, climate, infrastructure, economic development, and sustainable investment.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project and is expanding its network of qualified Non-Key Experts who may be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation.

We are seeking qualified Investment, Finance & Risk Experts to join our expert pool and support the mobilisation of public and private investment in clean energy and clean technology across the EU-MENA cooperation framework.

Key Responsibilities

Selected experts may support activities such as:

• Conducting financial and investment analyses of clean energy and clean technology projects.
• Developing financial models and assessing project bankability and commercial viability.
• Identifying investment barriers, financing gaps and appropriate financial instruments.
• Supporting investment structuring and the mobilisation of public and private finance.
• Advising on blended finance, guarantees, risk-sharing mechanisms and other de-risking instruments.
• Conducting financial, commercial and investment risk assessments.
• Supporting engagement with investors, financial institutions, development banks and private sector stakeholders.
• Contributing to investment pipelines, project preparation and investment promotion activities.
• Preparing financial assessments, investment studies and recommendations.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Relevant university degree in finance, economics, business administration, investment, engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in energy or infrastructure finance, investment analysis, project finance and/or risk assessment.
• Experience with renewable energy, clean technology or climate-related investments.
• Familiarity with blended finance, sustainable finance and private capital mobilisation is highly desirable.
• Experience with IFIs, development finance institutions, EU-funded programmes or other donor-funded initiatives is advantageous.
• Professional experience in the MENA region is considered a strong asset.

Language Requirements

• Excellent command of English.
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic will be considered a strong asset.
