We're expanding our creative team and looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator who understands how to transform complex geopolitical issues into compelling digital content.

About the Role

You'll create social-first video content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms—primarily short-form vertical videos designed to educate, inform, and engage audiences around the world.

We're looking for someone who enjoys shaping stories from the idea stage, contributing creative concepts, collaborating with researchers and presenters, and bringing projects to life from script to final export. You'll work alongside a fast-moving communications team producing daily content on breaking news, strategic affairs, Middle East developments, podcasts, and long-form research.

What You'll Do

• Produce and edit short-form social media videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.)
• Collaborate with researchers, presenters, and the communications team to develop engaging visual storytelling
• Help transform research papers and current events into highly shareable digital content
• Design motion graphics, subtitles, maps, charts, and explainers using Adobe After Effects
• Maintain and develop JCFA's visual identity across all platforms
• Create platform-specific versions optimized for YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, and other digital platforms
• Contribute creative ideas during editorial planning and brainstorming sessions
• Stay current with social media trends, emerging formats, and best practices for audience engagement

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience
• Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Experience creating high-performing social media content
• Excellent storytelling instincts and a strong understanding of digital audiences
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with current events, international affairs, Middle East politics, or journalism is a significant advantage
• Experience with podcast editing, motion graphics, animation, or sound design is a plus
• English and Hebrew proficiency required; additional languages are an advantage
