Chief Operations Officer

Schear Immigration is a boutique immigration law firm specializing in U.S. business and family immigration law. Our offices are at 22 Rothschild Blvd in Tel-Aviv. As Chief Operations Officer (“COO”) at Schear immigration, you will direct and oversee all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations including management of all essential business processes such as corporate planning, administration, finance and human resources.

• Operational Leadership - Managing daily operations, human resources, IT, and facilities.
• Oversee all office and legal staff day-to-day work on administrative and HR levels.
• Strategic Planning - Translate Founding Partner’s vision into operational strategies.
• Technology Implementation - Drive adoption of AI enabled tools for ops and legal.
• Ensure internal operations and legal processes are seamless.
• Establish annual budget and manage/mitigate potential financial risks.
• Oversee finance, billing and collection and expenses tracking.
• Act as senior escalation point for client problems and financial matters.
• Lead special projects such as office search and move. Volunteer work, etc.
• Personal trust and ad hoc duties for company and managing partner.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA). Law degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior administrative or operations role – must.
• Experience in managing teams of 10+ employees – must.
• Financial Acumen - proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and profitability analysis.
• Bilingual Hebrew and English fluency - must.
• Ability to work independently under tight timelines.
• Ability to relate and communicate to clients and people at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize and administer tasks as well as flexibility to work outside of office hours.
• Position requires a high degree of personal trust.
