Located in the Sharon / Central region (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH per week.
Role Description-
- Leading system architecture definition and optimization for next-generation Wireless Communication Chips & Modems targeting cutting-edge communication standards.
- Defining PHY System specifications, low-power hardware architectures, and algorithm implementations optimized for silicon (Power, Area, Performance tradeoffs).
- Driving end-to-end modem solutions across PHY TX/RX chains, from early algorithmic research to hardware implementation and silicon productization.
- Collaborating cross-functionally across Algorithm, Hardware/ASIC, Embedded Software, RF, and Validation squads throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary system integration and testing across embedded software, digital hardware, and radio subsystems.
- Supporting strategic customer engagements, technical integration, and commercial product deployments.
Requirements-
- B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Communication Systems Engineering, or equivalent – Mandatory
- Proven background in system definition and architecture for Wireless Communication Chips / SoCs – Mandatory
- Hands-on track record in Wireless Chip Productization, from initial design stages to mass market deployment – Mandatory
- Deep theoretical and practical understanding of PHY RX and TX Modem chains – Mandatory
- Strong grasp of hardware implementation tradeoffs (Power, Area, and Performance) with proven ability to optimize DSP/PHY algorithms for ASIC/HW implementation – Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with major wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, Cellular IoT/5G, or UWB) – Significant Advantage
- In-depth knowledge of advanced modulation and multi-antenna techniques (MIMO, OFDM/OFDMA) – Advantage
- Familiarity with RF front-end architectures and radio interfaces – Advantage
- Understanding of MAC Layer protocols and HW-SW partitioning – Advantage
