Chief Operating Officer

A large, established Israeli company is looking for a senior COO to lead a complex, nationwide operations organization.

This role requires proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site operations across dozens of locations, covering a total physical footprint of over 1 million sqm, with a variety of complex environments including office, retail and logistics facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nationwide operations across dozens of sites and over 1 million sqm of facilities.
• Manage a large organization, including senior operations managers, site managers and operational teams.
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, security, cleaning and ongoing site operations.
• Manage a large network of suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Establish consistent operational standards, processes, KPIs and service levels across all locations.
• Manage significant operational budgets and drive efficiency and cost optimization.
• Ensure high service levels and effective handling of complex operational issues.
• Work closely with senior management, partners and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of senior management experience leading large-scale, multi-site operations.
• Proven responsibility for dozens of locations across a wide geographic area and a very large physical footprint, ideally hundreds of thousands of sqm or more.
• Experience managing complex facilities with different operational uses, ideally including office, retail and/or logistics environments.
• Direct management experience of at least 20 employees, including managers.
• Significant experience in facilities management, maintenance and physical site operations.
• Strong experience managing large supplier and contractor networks.
• Proven ability to lead a complex, distributed operation while creating structure, consistency and operational control.
• Strong budget management and commercial capabilities.

Preferred Background- Particularly relevant backgrounds include senior operations leadership within:

• Healthcare organizations and medical networks
• Hotel groups
• Large property or facilities management organizations
• Other large organizations operating dozens of complex physical locations nationwide

Experience in real estate is an advantage, but not a requirement. The key is proven leadership of a large, complex and geographically distributed physical operation.
