System Engineer

Acquired by an international enterprise, the company continues to operate as an independent business and technological unit, employing over a hundred professionals at its primary R&D headquarters.

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Leading End-to-End HW / RF System Engineering, taking ownership from initial requirements definition and architectural design through system integration, validation, qualification, and mass production handover (NPI).
• Conducting hands-on RF laboratory investigations, performance optimizations, and multi-tier testing at the board, module, and system levels.
• Performing comprehensive RF link budget calculations, transmitter/receiver (TX/RX) characterization, and signal integrity analyses.
• Driving system bring-up, qualification processes, and environmental validation procedures.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Hardware Board Designers, Embedded Software Engineers, Communications Specialists, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements-

• 3 years of hands-on experience as an RF System Engineer or RF Board Design Engineer – Mandatory
• Deep technical expertise and strong fundamentals in RF Systems, RF Architecture, and TX/RX Chains – Mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience with advanced RF Lab Test Equipment: Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters – Mandatory
• Proven background in system-level RF integration, hardware-software bring-up, and troubleshooting – Mandatory
• Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline / elite IDF technology unit background – Mandatory
• Experience with RF Link Budget modeling, simulation tools, or wireless communication protocols – Advantage
• Background in Defense Systems, Aerospace, C-UAS, or Wireless Communications industries – Advantage
