Job Description

Zerto was founded in Israel and was acquired by HPE about four years ago. Our technology helps over ten thousand companies (hospitals, finance, industry, etc.) worldwide keep their businesses running without disruption by protecting and recovering applications across datacenters and clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.

What will your work be like? 

• Develop backend features in modern C++ for a large-scale, production-grade system.
• Investigate and resolve challenging bugs involving distributed systems, concurrency performance, and reliability.
• Gain experience with linux, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud technologies.
  
  

Who you are: 

• Top Computer Sciences/ Software Engineering/ Computer Engineering undergraduate student, with a GPA of 85 or higher and at least two years of studies remaining. 
• Availability to work ~3 days a week (~60%) – Hybrid work 
• Have a good understanding of OOP through C++.
• Familiarity with fundamental data structures, algorithms, and operating-system concepts.
• Self-learner, able to accumulate system vision from training, documentation, and self-exploration. 
• Excellent English- written and verbal. 
• Team player, yet with the ability to work independently. 
  
  

Advantage –experience with the following: 

• Hands-on experience with C++.
• Understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and concurrency.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, or distributed systems.
