About the Role

A leading Airborne Systems division at ELTA is looking for a Hardware & Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join the team responsible for mission aircraft.

The role includes:

• Specification, design, implementation, installation, and support of hardware, computing, and wiring infrastructure on mission aircraft.
• Supporting the design of wiring and electrical systems.
• Gathering and consolidating system-level requirements for the hardware and infrastructure team.
• Supporting and leading installations and testing activities on airborne platforms.
• Writing technical specifications and engineering documents for hardware and wiring systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Hardware Development Engineer – required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics – required.
• Familiarity with avionics systems – a significant advantage.
• Experience writing engineering requirements and technical specifications – an advantage.
• Experience working with airborne platforms – an advantage.

About the Team

The Systems & Projects division is responsible for infrastructure-related activities across mission aircraft projects.

The scope of work covers a wide range of aircraft infrastructure, including electrical systems, wiring, time synchronization, computing and IT, discrete interfaces, RF cabling, fiber optics, and more.

The role offers a combination of professional challenge and variety, exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, independent and team-based work, and interaction with customers in Israel and abroad.
