DevOps Engineer

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Joining as the first In-House Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer, transitioning external operations to establish, architect, and lead the company's internal DevOps, SRE, and cloud infrastructure practices.
• Designing and managing high-scale, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Managing production-grade Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and driving GitOps methodologies using tools like ArgoCD.
• Architecting and optimizing advanced CI/CD pipelines supporting zero-downtime deployment strategies (Canary, Blue-Green deployments).
• Leading Observability, monitoring, and SRE frameworks to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and ultra-low latency.
• Collaborating closely with Backend and Data engineering teams to streamline distributed workflows around Apache Kafka, Airflow, and real-time backend microservices.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps Engineering / Cloud Platform Engineering within high-scale Production environments – Mandatory
• Strong background as a Software Developer (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js) prior to transitioning into DevOps – Mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform (IaC) – Mandatory
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, containerization (Docker), and GitOps tooling (e.g., ArgoCD) – Mandatory
• In-depth practical knowledge of Linux operating system internals, networking, and shell scripting – Mandatory
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD automation and progressive delivery strategies (Blue-Green / Canary) – Mandatory
• Familiarity with distributed streaming and data processing systems (e.g., Kafka, Airflow) and modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) – Advantage
• Background in the Gaming, High-Throughput B2C, or Real-Time Platforms industry – Advantage
