About the Role

The Airborne Systems division at ELTA is looking for a Hardware & Infrastructure Engineer to join the team working on mission aircraft.

The role includes:

• Specification, design, implementation, installation, and support of hardware, computing, and wiring infrastructure on mission aircraft.
• Responsibility for hardware design, wiring, and electrical systems.
• Writing work procedures and test plans.
• Supporting and leading installations and testing activities on airborne platforms.
• Writing technical specifications for hardware and wiring systems.

Requirements

• Ability to read electrical schematics – required.
• Experience writing work procedures and test plans for aircraft – an advantage.
• Experience testing RF cabling and fiber-optic systems – an advantage.
• Experience working with airborne platforms – an advantage.

About the Team

The Systems & Projects division is responsible for all infrastructure-related activities across mission aircraft projects.

The scope of work covers a wide range of aircraft infrastructure, including electrical systems, wiring, time synchronization, computing and IT, discrete interfaces, RF cabling, fiber optics, and more.

The role combines professional challenge and variety, exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines, independent and team-based work, and interaction with customers in Israel and abroad.
