Embedded Software Engineer

Experiencing rapid scale, the company employs hundreds of professionals across two primary state-of-the-art R&D sites in Israel.

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station) or the Northern / Coastal region (adjacent to the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description

• ,Joining a core Embedded / Firmware engineering group, taking ownership of low-level software development for cutting-edge AI SoC platforms and next-generation Data Center systems.
• Developing mission-critical, low-level firmware in C / C++ running on Bare-Metal, RTOS, or Embedded Linux environments.
• Partnering closely with Hardware, ASIC, and Architecture teams throughout all phases of Silicon Bring-Up, hardware-software co-design, and system integration.
• Designing and implementing firmware components responsible for platform boot, system management, hardware initialization, and high-speed communication interfaces.
• Profiling, debugging, and optimizing low-level code for real-time responsiveness, safety, and maximum compute performance.

Requirements-

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or an exact science field (from a recognized university or leading academic institution / relevant IDF technology unit background) – Mandatory
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience specializing in Embedded Software / Firmware Engineering – Mandatory
• Strong low-level programming proficiency in C and/or C++ – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience developing on RTOS, Bare-Metal, or Embedded Linux platforms – Mandatory
• Practical background in Hardware-Software Integration, Silicon Bring-Up, or Board Bring-Up – Mandatory
• Familiarity with hardware communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART) and low-level debugging tools (JTAG, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers) – Advantage
• Background in the Semiconductor, SoC, or Data Center Hardware industry – Advantage
