Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Joining as a Hands-On Backend Software Architect, reporting directly to the VP of R&D and serving as the primary architectural authority across all engineering squads.
• Leading the overall backend architectural vision, system scalability, distributed infrastructure design, and technical roadmap.
• Establishing engineering best practices, microservice design patterns, code quality benchmarks, and performance optimization standards.
• Mentoring and guiding senior engineering teams, leading cross-functional design reviews, and driving complex technical decisions.
• Combining high-level strategic system architecture with deep, high-impact hands-on software development.

Requirements-

• Proven experience as a Software Architect / Technical Lead Architect – Mandatory
• 8 years of hands-on software development experience strictly focused on Backend Engineering – Mandatory
• Significant, production-grade development experience with Node.js and/or NestJS – Mandatory
• Deep expertise in building high-scale distributed systems, microservices architectures, and Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) – Mandatory
• Proven background in API design, asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, and high-performance databases (SQL/NoSQL) – Mandatory
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with excellent cross-team communication skills – Mandatory
