Technical Project Manager

Microcon is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead its R&D team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering development projects and assume overall responsibility for all project development aspects, including schedules, budgets, and performance.
• Manage the costing and estimation of development activities and define development budgets based on detailed work breakdown structures.
• Define, monitor, and control development work plans while ensuring achievement of project milestones.
• Make engineering decisions within the framework of the project and provide professional guidance to the project team.
• Lead product development from the initiation stage through prototype production and transition to serial manufacturing.
• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or Physics).
• Proven experience managing the development of complex multidisciplinary systems integrating hardware and software – mandatory.
• Experience in the development and systems engineering of military electro-optical systems – a significant advantage.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to learn independently.
• Systems-thinking approach, leadership capabilities, and experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead employees.
• High level of proficiency in English.
