Head of DevOps

Comblack is hiring: DevOps Team Lead for a Leading Defense Enterprise in Northern Israel

A unique opportunity to lead a professional DevOps team and participate in challenging projects within complex, dynamic environments. The role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, driving automation, and supporting cloud infrastructure alongside advanced development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a DevOps team of 5+ engineers.
• Design, build, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Oversee configuration management, scripting, and system integrations.
• Support Linux and Windows environments, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (Must).
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing a DevOps team of 5 or more employees (Must).
• Hands-on experience developing CI/CD processes with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins (Must).
• Strong proficiency with Git for configuration management and scripting in Bash or Python (Must).
• Solid experience with Linux and Windows systems, Docker, and Kubernetes (Must).
• Advantage: Experience with OpenShift.
• Advantage: Background in DevSecOps practices and public cloud (AWS) or private cloud environments.
